What I learnt by doing the preliminary exercise.

I worked in a group for the preliminary exercise, the first thing I learnt was to contribute the work equally, as we shared the work out between us all and we had major parts and managed to create

During the filming process, I firstly learnt the name of the boom. I also learnt that the boom is used for the sound and enhances the sound as it is a microphone. I learnt how to use the boom as well as what it is used for.

I learnt about different ways to use the camera, to get different shots. For instance a low angle shot, where the camera is on the floor and captures the entire subject and its surroundings.

    Proofread your work - the first sentence is incomplete and the second paragraph repeats itself.

    You must be specific in your blog. Don't write things that are unnecessary.

    Nothing new at the next deadline. You have had some time off.

    You should now have finished all preliminary exercise work and be starting on your main construction - the opening sequence to a thriller. As discussed you will be doing this on your own, not in a group.

    In class on Friday each group wrote the synopsis for the full length film, in about 250 words. Please do this as soon as you are able and keep in touch with me via email.
